A video of an Australian man bringing a lizard again to life after it took a tumble in a beer mug has gone viral.
The person, nicknamed Slab, has earned reward for saving a gecko lizard’s life by performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) which mixes chest compression usually with synthetic air flow.
The incident was filmed in New South Wales and initially shared by New York Put up.
The person was having a drink with mates at The Amble Inn in Corindi Seaside when he discovered a gecko in a beer mug. At first, he thought that the employees was taking part in a prank on him, however he later realised that the lizard had fallen in by mistake.
The person fished the gecko out of his beer glass and carried out chest compression along with his index finger. He then picked the lizard up and blew into its mouth as his associates and on-lookers cheered him. An on-looker may be heard asking whether it is coming good.
He then put the gecko on his palm, the place it began transferring and crawled up his arm. Upon seeing this, an individual began cheering. The resuscitation of the lizard amazed the person, who began shouting “I saved his life.”
Whereas many netizens heaped reward on the person for his lifesaving effort, some mentioned that the reptile pretended to be lifeless, a pure defence mechanism of some animals.
